Despite the high profile of the Kyoto Protocol in recent months, a study commissioned by Double A paper has found 70 per cent of Australian office workers have only a vague or no idea at all of what the term Kyoto Protocol means.rnThe survey, conducted by Galaxy Research, indicated that in spite of the high level of media coverage of the Kyoto Protocol in the past 12 months, only 22 per cent of office workers have an understanding of what the Kyoto Protocol actually is.rnOf those with an understanding of the term, just 34 per cent are optimistic about Australia achieving its target.rnFifty per cent of Australian office workers do not believe Australia will achieve emission targets set out in the Kyoto Protocol.
