Produced as part or the Australian Army History Series, The Architect of Victory is the story of Frank Berryman, the last of Australia's corps commanders to be accorded a biography. Berryman was a Duntroon-trainedcareer soldier who, as a 22 year old, fought in WW1 and was described by his brigade commander as 'an officer of remarkable judgement and great technical ability'. These sentiments were to be echoed throughout his career, despite his noted conflicts with various senior officers.
