A survey of manufacturing activity in Australia has found that only two of 12 manufacturing sub-sectors, food and beverage and clothing and footwear, posted increases in activity in August.THE DECLINE in activity was most pronounced in the paper, printing and publishing, textile, fabricated metal and miscellaneous sectors.
