摘要

A block diagram of spent fuel assembly encapsulation, a scheme for outfitting a gasostatic facility, a brief description of the construction of the gasostat, and a proposed design of a protective capsule containing one spent RBMK fuel assembly are presented. An isostatic processing scheme, which makes it possible to obtain long, defect-free, protective capsules with the correct geometric sliape, is validated on the basis of an analysis of the experimental results of pressing of fuel-assembly models.
