摘要

The environmental safety of Krasnoyarsk Krai, which possesses a large industrial potential, is evaluated using the methodology of public health risk analysis. It is shown that chemical contamination of the environment is one of the significant factors determining the health of the krai's population. The effect of the radiation factor associated with the operation of the Mining and Chemical Combine is extremely limited compared with the sources of chemical risk. The radiation risk is 100-100,000 times lower than the chemical risks for public health.
