摘要

A reliability evaluation of the unique equipment in the nuclear fuel fabrication/refabrication module of a pilot-demonstration energy complex during process operations is a pressing problem that affects both the economic efficiency and the safety of the entire complex. The developed approaches to the qualitative and quantitative reliability analysis are aimed at accounting for features of the fabrication/refabrication module such as the absence of direct analogues of unique equipment and the conditions of its operation as well as the lack of research on the behavior of nuclear materials under certain conditions. The results of a probabilistic analysis of the reliability of the section for carbothermal synthesis of mixed uranium and plutonium nitrides and the fabrication/refabrication module as a whole are presented as an example. The computational models construction for the fabrication/refabrication module made it possible to determine ways to increase the technical utilization factor. The obtained results will be used in the analysis of the module's fire safety and further in a risk analysis of the complex.
