PMC-Sierra Inc., an Internet infrastructure semiconductor solution provider, announced that ZTE Corporation, a global provider of telecommunications equipment and network solutions, has selected PMC-Sierra s CHESS metro transport architecture for its Unitrans product line. ZTE s Unitrans series of optical network products is widely deployed by over 250 operators in more than 90 countries worldwide. rnThe CHESS family of solutions enables ZTE to provide a modular, scalable metro transport architecture with reduced power and cost that addresses service providers demand for higher levels of integration and flexibility.
