摘要

This national survey examined the differences between television news operations and newspapers in their use of multimedia to disseminate content. Although Dailey, Demo, and Spillman (2005a) noted that journalists should leave their "old ways" behind and focus on ways that will work in the "new media," it appears that the "legacy" attitudes of traditional media are carrying over into new media and that newspapers appear to be falling behind television stations in some key aspects of delivering content over new media.
