Abercrombie & Fitch reports net income fell and sales declined in the second quarter

Abercrombie & Fitch Co, US clothing retailer, reported second quarter results which the net income dropped to US$11.4 million over the quarter ended 3 August from US$17.1 million in the same period last year. Meanwhile, sales declined 1% to US$845.7 million, including direct-to-consumer, US sales were down 8% to US$597.3 million, while international sales grew 15% to US$348.4 million, according to the company.
