PM2.5 monitoring: Chinese textile industry calls for waste aas emission standards

Apart from wastewater and waste residue, the textile industry also faces the issue of waste gas emission, for which the focus in China has been more on vehicle exhaust so far. New measures have been implemented in China during the past year to monitor PM2.5, which gave rise to new challenges to the textile printing and dyeing industry, one of the key PM2.5 producers in the country. Industrial insiders are hoping that the government would enact a set of standards for them to follow.
