The 'Zarya' Russian Module, the First Module of the international Space Station

摘要

the methods of designing and constructing the modules of pace stations developed and introduced by the "Salyut" DB of the Khrunichev space Center ensured the possibility of operating them reliably and safely not only within the assigned term but far beyond the time scale owing to employment of inherent reserves of serviceability and redundancy involved in the design, as well as owing to creation of constructions of systems repairable under conditions of an orbital fight and resistive to effects of space factors.
