Experiences and problems of the multilingual astronautical terminology

摘要

Experiences in working with the Chinese terms and definitions of the IAA Multilingual Terminology data Base are reviewed. In particular, features of the Chinese language are compared With those of other languages. Full use of scientific terms published by China's National Committee Of Natural Sciences Terminology was found helpful as most of the terms selected so far are From other disciplines of Sciences. Problems as to the selection of terms, especially in engineering Sciences will be discussed.
