First RSAF C-130 Featuring Rockwell Collins Avionics Upgrade

The first of ten C-130 aircraft to be modernised with Rockwell Collins Communications, Navigation and Surveillance/Air Traffic Management (CNS/ATM) technology has been delivered to the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF). The company's Flight2TM cockpit upgrade delivered by ST Aerospace provides the RSAF C-130s with a state-of-the-art flight deck and improved situational awareness. "With this upgrade, the RSAF gains a modern digital cockpit enabling greater mission effectiveness for their C-130 fleet and providing them with access to global airspace," said Dave Nieuwsma, vice president and general manager of Mobility and Rotary Wing Solutions for Rockwell Collins.
