Wheeled armoured fighting vehicles (AFV) are be-coming popular based on several factors. Among them is the factor of strategic mobility compared to tactical mobility. Wheeled designs are usually lighter than their tracked counterparts, and thus are able to be air transportable using the current tactical airlifter C-130 or the upcoming A400M.
