Asian Delegations Mark Visit to London's DSEI Show

High powered official delegations from Malaysia and 55 other nations, together with senior representatives of international organisations attended Defence & Security Equipment International (DSEI) exhibition, which was staged at ExCeL London from Sept 10-13, 2013. The event attracted over 30,000 visitors and 97 official delegations which represented an increase of 30% in government official overseas delegations compared to DSEI 2011. Malaysia was among the countries mounting their first national pavilion at DSEI. Japan and South Korea also made their DSEI debut, clear evidence of the importance that these key emerging players place on DSEI. India, a previous exhibitor, also increased its presence significantly, with both public and private sector pavilions. National pavilions from Europe, the Middle East, North and South America also featured in the most international DSEI ever staged, with 40 nations participating.
