PAF Holds Joint Interoperability Exercise with Navy

The Philippine Air Force (PAF) and the Philippine Navy (PN) held their ninth Interoperability Exercise Dagit from September 7-18, 2015 at Naval Base Heracleo Alano (NBHA), Sangley Point, Cavite City; Caballo Island and Manila Bay. The series of drills were opened at the Marine Base Gregorio Lim (MBGL), Ternate, Cavite on Sept 7. It is an annual training event which included subject matter expertise exchanges, maritime air surveillance, command and control, maritime interdiction operations, aircraft marshalling training, deck landing qualification, high angle sniping, aeromedical evacuation, close air support, search and rescue, cross training exercise and support to special operations which included the combat insertion and extraction.
