Rheinmetall Wins Major Order for Ammunition

The Rheinmetall Group of Diisseldorf has won another major order for ammunition from an international customer. Booked in the second quarter of 2016 and worth over $445 million, the contract runs for seven years. This underscores once again the group's global reputation for excellence, which has made it one of the world's top three makers of military munitions. For many years Rheinmetall has numbered among the leading system suppliers of the international defence and security industry. Rheinmetall Defence, with 10,000 employees working at production and sales locations in over 15 countries, expects sales to reach $2.89 billion this year.
