CAE Equips RNLAF Air Mobility Training Centre

The Netherlands, with a small size of air force, face challenges in terms of training its pilots. The Royal Netherlands Air Force (RNLAF) has slightly over 8,000 personnel, and the number of assets employed in the service is not that many, compared to other European counterparts. But the good thing is that, the country's military assets and resources are shared within the three services. Take for example, the NH Industries NH90 helicopters. Although they are kept under the inventory of the RNLAF, the aircraft is mostly deployed to support missions of the Royal Netherlands Navy. The close cooperation among the services under the armed forces of the Netherlands requires operational missions to be integrated, to enable cohesiveness in decision making.
