Woosh Wireless looks for a first with voice over TDD

TDD-Based wireless-broadband operator Woosh Wireless is looking to increase pressure on mobile duopoly Telecom New Zealand (TCNZ) and Vodafone by launching voice-based TDD services, most likely before end-July. The launch would make it the first operator in the world to offer TDD-based voice services. The firm says it will roll out voice services initially to a PC-based soft-phone and to a traditional RJ-4-based fixed-line phone via a voice gateway.
