Globe Telecom details plan to upgrade all networks in Visayas, Mindanao cities with LTE

Filipino telco Globe Telecom plans to upgrade its 3G network infrastructure with 5G-ready 4G LTE systems in several cities in the Visayas and Mindanao island groups. Ayala-led Globe aims to fast-track its shift to 4G LTE this year as the company's base standard, upgrading its networks in Bacolod City, Cebu City, Mandaue City and Lapu-Lapu City in the Visayas, as well as Davao City and Cagayan de Oro City in Mindanao, according to Rappler.
