Huawei adds Pakistani payments app Easypaisa to AppGallery platform

Huawei has added Pakistani payments app Easypaisa to its AppGallery app marketplace. Since its global launch in April 2018, the Huawei AppGallery is available in over 170 countries/ regions, with 420 million monthly active users globally, Huawei said. Following the inclusion of Easypaisa on the Huawei AppGallery, Huawei users can now access their Easypaisa wallet to make transactions, pay bills, or accept remittances. Huawei also reports that applications of its AppGallery platform reached 210 billion total downloads in 2019. Huawei ended July with over 700 million monthly active device users. The number of registered developers worldwide has reached 1.6 million, and 81,000 applications have integrated with HMS Core.
