Asia leading the way in DSL, fiber broadband, says Point Topic

According to new data from Point Topic relating to broadband trends, the Asian region witnessed the highest growth in Q3/2010, making special mention of India and China. The report pointed out that the global broadband user base had gone past 508 million by Q3/2010, an increase of 11.9 percent from the year ago period. Developing countries like India, China, Russia, Ukraine, Vietnam, and the Philippines increased their broadband user base by over 20 percent during the last one year. China added 6.1 million users while India added 762,000 users.
