Cirrus logic expands presence in Asia, offers inexpensive DVD chip solutions

After establishing a strong reputation in the digital audio space, Cirrus Logic Inc. decided in 2000 to design chip solutions for the video industry. The company sees big market opportunities in DVD players and recorders, as well as in DVD-based systems, says Steve Goodyear, Director for Corporate Communications.
