With the rise in demand for personal computers and mobile phones plus the surging popularity of digital home products, the adoption of digital formats in electronic devices is rapidly advancing. This trend also paved the way for noise suppression components to take up a huge role in many of today's devices. Digital devices emit electromagnetic interference (EMI). For this reason, noise suppression technology has become more important for electronic de-vices. To suppress the occurrence of EMI and to increase the immunity of devices against noise, noise filters are now being integrated in electronic device circuits. The most common noise filter product is the power line noise filter. This product is used in industries mainly among power sources of semiconductor fabrication equipment, machine tools, communication base stations, Internet Data Center, and computers. A number of makers are now beefing up their lineup of standard products while some are developing series of products up to the 700A rated type.
