Manufacturers these days are coming up with more and more sophisticated products. Makers also have ever-changing requirements for these products, which call for more advanced parts and components. In turn, the need for these components fuel advances in material technology field, which includes magnets. A ferrite magnet contains oxidized steel as a main ingredient and is manufactured by powder metallurgy. Compared to other magnets, it is lower in price and features excellent stability such as corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance. Thus, ferrite magnet is widely used for motors, speakers, relays, sensors, toys, electrical equipment motors, and in electronic office equipment.
