Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd. will put in place a chemical substance management system that complies with REACH regulation or the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals in the European Union (EU) by June 2011.rnThe system manages the process of obtaining, managing, reporting, and submitting chemical substance information by making use of the Web, based on industry standard formats, that is, Joint Article Management Promotion-consortium (JAMP)'s Article Information Sheet (AIS) and Material Safety Data Sheet Plus (MSDSplus). The AIS contain information on molded articles and components, while the MSDSplus on chemical substances themselves and their preparation.
