Technology Innovations Spur New Market, Service Models

Perspectives of various technology experts will be heard during the panel discussion slated after the keynote speeches and technology sessions. As innovation encompasses a broad range of industries, the selected roster of high-profile panelists will particularly discuss how to spur innovation and how it will lead to the creation of new markets and highly developed service models, focusing on their respective technical expertise. Yoshio Utsumi, President of Japan Telecommunications Engineering and Consulting Services (JTEC) will act as moderator for the panel discussion. Utsumi is the former Secretary General of the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) and held this post from 1999 to 2006. He is also a Visiting Professor at Waseda University. Prior to that, he served as the Deputy Minister of Telecommunications in Japan for one year.
