Iwatsu Test Instruments Adds New Series to Current Probes Lineup

Iwatsu Test Instruments Corporation has released the SS-280 Series Rogowski coil current probes. Three models with peak current of 60A, 120A, and 300A are available. Rogowski coils have been developed by Walter Rogowski, a German physicist. It had been known since earlier times that measuring high currents in wider bandwidths is simple. However, major technological challenges hinder the practical application, among which include production of a coil and design of low-noise integration circuit.
