Oscillator Powers Stand-Alone Handheld Spectrum Analyzer

Anritsu Corporation has released a new high-accuracy internal reference oscillator as an option for its handheld spectrum analyzer. The new option enables high levels of precise measurement comparable with a rubidium oscillator, and can be incorporated in the analyzer. This optional function is intended for the company's handheld spectrum analyzer Spectrum Master MS2720T. By incorporating the oscillator, the analyzer can carry out measurement of frequencies during construction and maintenance of a cellular base station on its own at accuracy levels equivalent to those of a rubidium oscillator. A rubidium oscillator is required for measurement during construction or maintenance of a cellular base station as an external source of reference signals.
