Industry movers and shakers gathered around the recent electronica 2016, which was held from November 8 to 11 in Munich, Germany, and charted the electronics industry's latest technologies and innovations that will complement the biggest trends in the industry. Without a doubt, automotive and manufacturing industries took the spotlight as chip, components, and related companies highlighted their latest solutions and portfolio. Companies that took part in the 2016 edition of electronica, which is being held every two years, totaled 2,913 companies from about 50 countries, which is an increase of 7 percent over the 2014 exhibition. These companies presented their latest solutions and technologies in the electronics sector, which were witnessed by 73,000 fair visitors from the industry.
