Energy harvesting, which converts light, heat, vibrations, and electric waves into electricity, is also becoming popular. Autonomous driving and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) have also progressed. These industry trends require energy storage devices to provide new levels of performance that cannot be achieved with conventional energy storage devices.
