Innovative Dehumidification & Cooling System Controls Humidity and Saves on Energy

In a warehouse facility at the Miami International Airport another warm and humid day brought its array of air conditioning challenges. The weather, near the ASHRAE design conditions of 91°F Dry Bulb / 78°F Wet Bulb strained the HVAC system to its limits. Boxes of duty-free items such as tobacco, chocolates and perfumes were stacked floor-to-ceiling in this conditioned portion of the warehouse, all requiring a temperature less than 83° and humidity levels in the range of 45%.
