Methods of static analysis of anchored diaphragm Walls

The paper presents the state of the art in the area of static analysis of anchored diaphragm walls. In Poland there are no legal regulations concerning the dimen- sioning of diaphragm walls. As in the case of spread foundations static analysis three main approach methods are distinguished. First is calculation of anchored diaphragm wall as a rigid beam structure, subjected to active and passive earth pressures. Methods of analysis have been presented for cantilever walls, walls with single or several levels of anchors, considering substitute diagrams of active pres- sure, which-as the result of prestressing of anchors or forces acting in struts -are subject to redistribution.
