Out of almost 300 entries, 41 projects from 32 firms were recognized in this year's Florida/Caribbean Honor & Design Awards, presented by AIA Florida this summer. The four-person jury bestowed design awards in eight categories, such as renovations and additions, historic preservation and restoration, unbuilt design, and interiors. Winning projects include the Bay Pines STEM Center in St. Petersburg by Rowe Architects (shown) and the Kotler-Coville Glass Pavilion at the John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art in Sarasota by Architects Lewis + Whitlock.
