Local council offices, the fire station, the council builder's yard, a musicians' clubhouse and a music school: in this typical regional conglomerate of public buildings on the periphery of the town of Stallhofen in western Styria Gerhard Mitterberger has built a rehearsal space for the Stallhofen brass band. In terms of form and material it investigates the idea of a resonating body: the building as an instrument, so to speak.%Gemeindeamt und Feuerwehr, Bauhof, Musikerheim und Musikschule - in diesem landestypischen Konglomerat aus öffentlichen Gebäuden am Ortsrand der weststeirischen Gemeinde Stallhofen realisierte Gerhard Mitterberger ein Probenlokal für das Stallhofener Blasorchester. Es folgt in Form und Materialität der Idee eines Resonanzkörpers, des Bauwerks als Instrument.
