Originally used separately by two families, this farmhouse in the Wald-wiertel, whose oldest part dates fromrnthe 18th century, was extended in the 1970s. Gaupenraub has now adapted this ensemble to suit new functions.rnIn redesigning this building to create a contemporary house in the country top priority was given to contact with nature. Set in a valley amidst a powerfully rolling hilly landscape, this weekend residence offers an ideal place to retreat to.
