Tourismus ist ein schwieriges Geschäft, das von zahllosen Variablen abhängig ist: Wetterlage und Konjunktur sind nur die zwei wichtigsten unbestimmten Größen dieser nahezu unkalkulierbaren Gleichung. Es ist ein Handel mit Gefühlen, Stimmungen und Launen. Immerhin geht es dabei ja auch um Lustbefriedigung. Ob und wie man mehr Konstanz und Berechenbarkeit - oder gar „Nachhaltigkeit" -in diese überaus volatile Branche bringen kann, ist nicht zuletzt auch eine Frage des Baubetriebs. Welche Strukturen sollen wir für welche Kern-Nachfragen des Tourismus bauen? Welche Balance zwischen Investitionsausmaß und geplanter Nutzungsdauer anstreben?
