Addition of a storey to a rural house, Neudorf, Burgenland - A tower for a house

In the early 1990s architect Georg Marterer adapted this small house in the country for the first time. Twenty years later he has extended it again: a staircase tower built of wood, two children's bedrooms in lightweight construction on the roof, and a new terrace have been added to the existing building in an almost organic way, enriching it with bird's eye perspectives.
