1-2 Model A: Hub station oriented, highly integrated complex development model

This model will be looked at including case examples, in detail in Chapter 2. The overview in this chapter summarizes integrated station-city development model A, "hub station-oriented highly integrated complex development" - or the hub station model, for short - around the following five points:(1)"efficiency" from an urban planning perspective, (2) "convenience" from the perspective of the railway and city user, (3) "comfort," again from the perspective of the railway and city user, (4) "business viability" from the perspective of railroad businesses and urban developers, and (5) "symbolic appeal". This overview should be helpful in understanding the aim of this publication.
