摘要

House D,located in a prestigious neighborhood in the vicinity of the city center of Ljubljana, built for a couple with a specific lifestyle, is an exercise in programmatic layering. The "base" of the house, containing all "additional" programs -pool, gym, workspace, music room, etc. - is partly submerged and covers the entire site, creating a new zero level,a large blanket perforated by patios, acting as a terrace for the spaces above. From this level on, emerges a "real" house, much smaller and consisting of a living room and one bedroom, blending in volume with the neighborhood.
