Feature: Bicycle and Urbanism

摘要

Together with our guest editor, architect Manabu Chiba, we will feature Bicycle and Urbanism for our upcoming a+u January issue. "Mobility" has become an universal challenge since the recent Corona outbreak. Yet even before 2020, various means of transportation, such as e-bikes, are seen emerging across cities all around the world. Old city infrastructures centered around only pedestrians and cars are now in the process of being remodeled. In this issue, architects and urban planners from around the world are invited to share their vision on the mobility and transportation of our future society.
