John Schoettler: We wanted the buildings to be beautiful and special, yet we didn't want iconic, signature buildings, because that's not who we are. You might notice we do not place our name on top of any of our buildings - that's not important to us. But frugality is important, so while the buildings needed to be of high quality, we were only going to spend our money where it really matters, where it matters most to our employees and provides a great experience for them.
