The project starts with the creation of a school complex. The facility will also be available for other uses within the community. The program has been extended to the creation of a life-science center and other functions that will be used independently. This meant that these areas need to be accessable from the outside. The building creates a boundary of continuous exterior space that protects the teaching areas which are placed in the center arranged by their year groups. The courtyard serves as an alternative circulation system and a controlled area. Spaces are characterized by precise volumes of different heights. The program is laid out to allow a variety of uses and circulation paths. The spaces are only defined by their sizes, and are all neutral and white. They are ready to accommodate life. The same logic is applied to the exterior, in the walls and pavements with openings all of the same size. In a way, the project manages minimal design elements with precision.
