This era of massive and acritical diffusion of architecture is transforming our world into an ever-more uniform environment. We now live in a particularly homogenous world overflowing and burdened with an endless reproduction of images detached from any specific context. We are operating without the proper attention to the history of each cultural context; without the proper attention to life itself. We carelessly absorb, replicate and relocate iconography from one culture to another. Each time we repurpose these images and icons, the image's original relationship to a specific context, to an unrepeatable urban fabric, vanishes.
