Frank Lowe: 1939-2006 thinker, leader and agent for positive change

On 15 December; the architectural community lost a great educator, networker, philosopher and friend when Frank Lowe died. A quiet and apparently shy man, Frank was always very busy: contacting people, planning, organising, prodding and addressing any person or group who was willing to listen to his passionate and thoughtful opinions. A consummate networker, he formed real and virtual communities - not for commercial gain, but out of friendship and his desire to improve architecture.
