Future cities: all hands on deck

The NSW Government's Metropolitan Strategy Review needs to be part of an integrated whole-of-government approach, not another segregated committee initiative. Michael Neustein outlines the Institute's recent planning recommendations to government. During the past decade, the NSW Chapter has become increasingly involved in planning matters. Starting with issues of planning process reform in the mid 1990s, the focus has shifted to strategic planning in the past fewyears.
