By the time aaron bolot had finished designing Ashdown in 1938 his Sydney architectural office had already been established for six years, duringwhich time he had designed not only apartments, but freestanding houses, cinemas, and even factories.rnBolot is best known for residential apartments, and in 2008, his contribution to innovative apartment design was recognised when the NSW Chapter of the Institute named the Award for Residential Architecture - Multiple Housing, the Aaron Bolot Award.
