摘要

Hassell hosted five Danish design students who have been tasked with developing concepts for the future of Sydney's iconic Opera House. The students were based in the Hassell Sydney studio from 14 July to 22 August as part of the MADE by the Opera House program (pictured above). Designed to promote international and cross-disciplinary interaction between students of engineering, architecture and design, the program exposed them to life in a multidisciplinary studio and provided design master classes in urban design, environmental way finding, theatre planning, acoustics, wind engineering and lighting. "The students have really engaged with our designers and used their time at our Sydney studio to develop an impressive array of design concepts that could one day help enrich the visitor experience at the Opera House," Hassell Principal Matthew Pullinger said.
