The premise of this book is that architecture can change our brains and behaviour. Eberhard calls on neuroscientists to give architects answers on how humans respond to environmental stimuli. This is an exciting step in the field of environmental psychology and behaviour that, to some extent, asks what features of particular environments people respond to positively. Neuroscience asks why.
