'The Architectural Review' believes in more than just architecture. This is not to say that the AR has torn the mistress of the arts from her pedestal-although she often needs to be taken down, examined and dusted-but round the pedestal the AR has always planted a dense undergrowth of plants that support and complement architecture itself. Townscape, inscape, and landscape have all been presented to readers for their delight.
